I am shopping for a DVR for a CCTV system. How much space would I need to hold 1 month of video at a time?
The DVR would be recording video from a motion activated camera monitoring the entry/exit of personnel from a building. the DVR would have to hold the data for 30 days and then would be backed up onto tape.
I'm not sure, you can do the math, but an 80 gig hard drive will hold about 30 hours of taped video. Hope this helps.
