little doubt night vision security cameras are now a vital part of today's society especially in suburban areas where street lighting is at a minimum or not very effective.
The best option for those looking for night vison is to consider day/night cameras. These provide excellent screen capture images during the day and then simply revert to night time images at night but without color.
In some respects this is a criticism for many night vision security cameras but the fact is, they are effective in low light conditions and when lighting improves, then they have the ability to capture color.
They are ineffective in absolutely no-light conditions. Don't get the term night vision cameras confused with night cameras which can capture images in total darkness as we'll explain in a moment.
Many people liken a night vision security camera to images they have seen on television or in the movies made using night vision goggles.
